July 17, 2013 – Letter from Bernie Heller, VP/Advertising:

Thursday, August 29th will be a great day to be a Gamecock! Not only will the 2013 season of Gamecock Football officially kick off, but that’s also the day The State Media Company will publish the next issue of the newly expanded GoGamecocks.com, The Magazine.

With 60,000 printed copies of GoGamecocks.com, The Magazine distributed to State Newspaper home subscribers, free access to the digital replica for all GoGamecocks.com and TheState.com members, plus a growing base of loyal magazine subscribers and newsstand outlets we provide the most valuable integrated print and digital advertising packages available in the marketplace.

Our GoGamecocks franchise is far and away the premier source for reaching the Columbia based Gamecock sports fan.  Our independent, veteran, award-winning content team includes Josh Kendall, Neil White, Gerry Melendez, Dwayne McLemore and David Cloninger (our most recent addition).

Thanks to the new distribution model, your ad will now be seen by the most educated and affluent audiences the market has to offer. Our readers have household incomes over $68,000 (which is 29% above the average household income) and 76% own their homes*.  Simply put: Our audience has the customers you want!

The details about the next issue are attached.  Your account executive will follow up with you in the next few days. If you have any questions in the meantime please feel free to contact me directly at 803-771-8650.

I look forward to seeing your ad in the next issue. GO GAMECOCKS!!

Sincerely

Bernie Heller
Vice President, Advertising
